I remember Ben winning the football reality show Football's Next Star, where he won a contract at Inter Milan.

Ben is probably known to both Managers, having spent time at Concord, Welling and Maidstone.

Well it was expected that our new managers would raid their old clubs wasn't it?

He has a good pedigree as a footballer and he stood out when playing for Concord against us and I am happy he is on board , thats 1 each now from Welling[ Driver] and Concord so hopefully now we will see players arrive from a wider sphere ????

What I'm hoping for is an injection of something exciting. As fantastic and successful as Tony Burman's reign has been, things had become a little predictable and whilst his departure presents many risks, it also gives us an opportunity for positive changes too. So far however, the new management and players for next season are all entirely predictable. I'm totally behind these guys but I am still hoping that we might recruit a few names that haven't been with us before or that I haven't even heard of, rather than just looking at the old boys. It would be nice to take a peek outside of the bubble.

That would be difficult at the `Old boys Club`.
Hard to see anything changing.  >:(

Totally agree with the last 3 posts , I realise that it is only late May and to sign a number of  NEW players in June is unrealistic but all I ask is for Flan/Coyley to communicate with the fans on a regular basis [ Coyley was very good at this when at Welling ] and they will get 100% support and belief that we are moving in the right direction and that will encourage fans to buy an early bird  Season Ticket !!!!
