El Kab on Me !
""Does anyone else read what this guy says anymore? I will nickname you 'droner' because much of what you say is absolutely unnecessary! Waffling on, bamboozling the working class with your twaddle.
I'm sure your a thoroughly decent bloke but that is the last time I'm reading anything you post! ""

In essence, thankyou so much El K.      As any positive note supporting the whole Team as a unit at the top of the League is apparently "Droning on" , clearly a negative self serving opinion of favourites and self interest is better accepted.
Thus, a Forum it is not.   Rather than talk down to the working class as you suggest, I speak as a man of the working class, who doesn't  denigrate those he purports  to support.   With respect.

Ah Mike, speaking as someone who is also perceived as having "rose tinted" views, I really should come out in support of your posts a bit more often. You are 100% positive about every aspect of our club which means I should be somewhere around 95% in agreement. Unfortunately, I find your Mrs Malaprop style of writing so immensely irritating that I tend to ignore the sentiment and disagree with you just for the hell of it. It's my problem I know.

I would add "with respect" at the end but I don't think that really works.  ;)

Guess it's a matter of staffing at the club, have a trawl around other clubs websites and you will be surprised how well run they are, info brimming over the sides. We are not one of those clubs. I'm waiting for the classic lines from the same old people to say 'if you have an idea why don't you do it yourself blah blah blah. Short of turnstile ops....do it yourself......want decent food...do it yourself! Get my drift?

God knows what the answer is.

Quote from: .
It matters not who he will have if we get promoted in the team. 90% of the present team in my opinion will be GONE.

Ozy; Easier said than done mate, the club haven't got the funds to entice Conf Prem standard players here!! One or two additions tops, but as proved against Boreham Wood over 2 x games, the players we have got can up their game if need be.
It's just not happening at the moment though for whatever reason??

i think people are suggesting tony should tell us more but if i am wrong , sorry. however i dont feel tony needs to say anything other than what he puts in the programme , in fact he should not even read the forum, he must have more important things to do with his time

i do agree this is a very poor division and a golden opportunity for us to win , we are after all the biggest team in the division

i like pugh he is very clever but he always appears to be an injury about to happen. i think doa can play with pavey , pugh or mills  and also feel pugh and pavey, and pugh and mills can play  together but i would have doubts that mills and pavey could forge a partnership but they both scored on saturday so again tony has been proven right

I think it's wrong to suggest that we all want Tony to tell us more. I for one don't think it's Tony's role. I'm suggesting other bodies within the club should be updating on players coming or going. Tony - like any manager from any club - doesn't need to get involved in the comms side of the organisation. That should be someone else's job. All he'd need to do is update someone internally when asked and then they write the information up.
